VA 361 Productions CEO Daniel Pycock has completed the 2026 Dakar Classic, finishing 84th overall after completing all thirteen stages of the event in Saudi Arabia.
Competing under his full name, Daniel Matthew Pycock, he drove car 756—a 1993 Mitsubishi Pajero—with navigator Francisco Javier Gómez Espigares. The result adds a major endurance milestone to a rally journey that began with the Panda Raid in 2018 and continued through the Desert Trophy and Rally Classics Africa.
Leadership under pressure
The Dakar Classic demands consistency, preparation and decision-making across consecutive stages in difficult terrain. Those same disciplines are central to Daniel’s work at VA 361 Productions, where international productions require teams to perform accurately under pressure, across borders and to fixed deadlines.
Daniel serves as CEO of VA 361 Productions. Fran Gómez serves as Co-CEO. Their leadership structure developed through the company’s restructuring and transition from Visionarea to VA 361 Productions between 2020 and mid-2022.
The Dakar result also informs Daniel’s work as a speaker and storyteller, connecting endurance competition with leadership, execution, resilience and long-term personal transformation.
